Виталий Дзюбов · Digital drawing - Wacom graphics tablet, 2022

One of my best portraits from a collection depicting people I sang karaoke with on Smule. This portrait was created on a Wacom graphics tablet; most of the other works in the collection were drawn in pencil.

Padme Amidala (Star Wars) - it is the beautiful role of Natalie Portman. I love the film and how she played. In addition, I live in Jerusalem, where Natalie was born.

Виталий Дзюбов · Painting - Oil Painting

Sci-fi is my favorite topic since childhood. I always dreamed of going on a trip into space to other planets. I write Sci-fi stories. Sunrise on other planets is a beautiful theme that I will continue to develop in my next artworks. Oil, ~45x35 cm.

Leonardo Da Vinci, Elon Mask, Nikola Tesla - 3 Engineers. Each of them made a huge contribution to the progress of mankind and they deserve to be displayed together in a common portrait.

Portraits are the most interesting thing in painting. In the faces, you can always see the character, mood, and even the thoughts and soul of not only the person depicted in the portrait but also part of the soul and mood of the artist himself. And it doesn't matter at all: in what format and with what tools this work was created. In addition, the advantage of a portrait in electronic format is that the image will never deteriorate from time to time. In this same work, I portrayed a beautiful woman. She looks a bit like actress Natalie Portman. Therefore, I named this work Natalie.

I painted the portrait of this elderly lady for a very long time. And no wonder. Young people are much easier to draw and beautiful. But if you look closely at this portrait, then this lady also has sympathy and beauty. Her sad smile attracts attention and you involuntarily remember Mona Lisa.

Broken Dreams... I often write poetry, prose, and paint portraits, but this is my first job in the field of abstraction. It's hard to say what prompted it to draw. Most likely, I just tried to imagine my own broken dreams, when you have been striving for a dream for many years and suddenly you realize that what you have been striving for will not even remain in your dreams. It is possible at any age to outgrow your dreams and decide that they have no place in your present and future. This is not a refusal, but dying and rebirth, a transition to a new state.

This portrait was very difficult to draw, not only because of the unusual angle. It was difficult to accurately convey the emotions of the girl. And yet I succeeded. I wish you to smile like this more often. If you hang such a portrait on your wall, the mood will always be wonderful)

Look this guy in the eye. They contain pain, sadness, and regret about a missed opportunity. Most likely a girl dumped him. Why? Maybe he was not decisive enough or made a mistake that the girl could not forgive him. What do you think of this?

You will not find this frame from the Star Wars movie anywhere: I caught it for a long time directly from the movie and with great difficulty managed to stop it in time from 25 or 30 times. On it, Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) meets Anakin. The portrait is drawn on a graphics tablet Wacom.

The English word “stone” sounds almost like the Russian word “ston”, meaning “a moan”. This is the moan of a heart turned to stone by the pain within.
